Dark Web Monitoring That Tells You Before Attackers Act

Stolen passwords are the number one way into a company. SecurityScanner.AI watches underground forums, marketplaces, Telegram channels and paste sites around the clock and alerts you the moment a credential tied to your domain appears.

What dark web monitoring actually does

Every week, billions of usernames and passwords change hands on criminal forums. Most of them come from third-party breaches your company never heard about: a SaaS tool an employee signed up for with their work email, a supplier portal, an old forum account reused with the same password.

Dark web monitoring compares those leaked records against your domains and employee email addresses. When there is a match, you get the details you need to act: which address, which source, when it was leaked, and whether the password was exposed in cleartext.

How SecurityScanner.AI monitors the dark web

  1. Add your company domains. Subdomains and employee addresses under those domains are covered automatically.
  2. Our engine checks your domains against a database of more than 15.4 billion leaked credentials from over 450,000 breach sources, including historical breaches.
  3. New sources are ingested continuously: forum dumps, combolists, stealer logs, Telegram channels and paste sites.
  4. When a match appears you receive an email alert and a dashboard entry with the breach context and the recommended response.

Why cleartext password detection matters

Not every leak is equal. A salted hash from a 2015 breach is a low-risk reminder to rotate passwords. A cleartext password from a stealer log captured last week is an open door, especially if that employee reuses it for Microsoft 365, VPN or your admin panel.

SecurityScanner.AI flags cleartext exposures separately so your team can prioritise forced password resets and MFA enforcement where it actually matters.

Frequently asked questions

Does dark web monitoring require installing anything?

No. You add your domain in the dashboard and monitoring starts immediately. Endpoint agents are a separate, optional module.

How quickly am I alerted after a leak?

Matches against newly ingested sources trigger an email alert as soon as they are processed. Pro plans run monthly automated scans, Enterprise plans weekly, and you can trigger a scan at any time.

Is the free plan enough to get started?

The free plan monitors one domain against basic dark web sources and shows you whether your company has exposed credentials. Paid plans add automated scans, alerts, advanced sources and cleartext password detection.
